What brought you to coaching?
I was on a quest for personal purpose and the only thing I was clear about was that I was passionate about working with the other towards their best version.
In that year of exploration, I was living in London and I made the decision to find out more about coaching. That's how I came to The Coaching Academy with their Introduction to Life Coaching training. That experience was enough for me to realize that this is what I wanted to do in my life.
Most people become a coach to change the lives of others… How has coaching benefited your own life?
WOW, it has given me a 360-degree change in every way!
Today I work on what I want, everything has meaning and connects with what fills my soul. TODAY I FEEL LIKE A MASTER OF MY LIFE
Thanks to coaching I have created my own consultancy and I work on projects that excite and motivate me, therefore I enjoy my life more.
Additionally, my own way of seeing things has changed, today I have more awareness, wider perspectives, I listen at another level, I understand what it is to be present and I understand that we are all different worlds.
How did the qualification slot in with your busy life?
I started studying when I was living in London without working so all my time was spent on the coaching journey.
The challenge was not the time, but rather the language, the culture and my own confidence.
What was the most rewarding part of your Coaching journey?
Definitely when I got my diploma with Merits! It was wonderful to see my own evolution and realise that when you modify your limiting beliefs and begin to trust, everything begins to emerge.
I stopped seeing myself as a foreigner who doesn't speak English and I started seeing myself as a coaching student who was improving every day.
Another rewarding moment was when I began to see relevant changes in my clients and the impact of the coaching sessions.
How did you choose your coaching niche?
One thing that was clear to me as soon as I started, was that because of my experience in the corporate sector I love working with executives. Along the way, I also became very passionate about confidence and that's how I found my niche as an Executive Confidence Coach. There is nothing more rewarding for me than watching my clients speak with confidence.
Being an executive confidence coach allows me to use all my expertise in the performing arts to prepare my clients for talks, exhibitions or interviews.
Today I focus on helping my clients build trust in themselves for who they are and from there, fulfil their goals as executives.
Tell us about the work you do! How are you using your coaching skills?
Today I work as an executive coach focused on trust and I have also created a consulting firm focused on emotional management, Grasshopper. Our methodological approach integrates expressive arts method and a coaching approach.
Coaching allows us to create awareness on how they are observing the world today and the arts allow them to explore and discover, without judgement, and through the artistic experience offers new tools for emotional management.
We address groups and teams that want to learn how to manage their emotions and generate a positive impact on their relationships, so they are sustainable over time.
The skills that stand out most in my sessions are confidence and comfort, an open-minded space where through my listening, presence and powerful questions we achieve our goals together.
