On 9th February at Latimer Place, The Coaching Academy will be running the CPD Day: 

Neuroscience and Coaching

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system, traditionally seen as a branch of biology but in more recent times has evolved into a far more interdisciplinary science within social, cognitive and affective (emotion) psychology disciplines. 

Delegates attending the Neuroscience and Coaching day will gain:

  • A greater understanding of Neuroscience
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant neuroscientific theory
  • Awareness of how to maximise your impact as a coach
  • Greater understanding of brain structure
  • SCARF – a brain-based model to explain the drivers of human social behaviour
  • Knowledge of Neuroplasticity and its relevance to coaching.
  • Understanding the value of Neuroscience in coaching both for the coach and client
  • Practical tools from neuroscience to use with your coaching clients
  • A head full of learning and a smile on your face having had a lot of fun
