I think most people underestimate the value of goals, however, the ability to set and achieve goals will determine the success we achieve. In this book, Brian Tracy helps you to set goals and achieve them in record time by following a step by step process.
For those used to setting goals and those who have an advanced knowledge of coaching, the book’s examples may appear slightly basic. However, I personally consider this as a great book to review regularly and to remind yourself on how to set goals accordingly no matter what your current level of training. Key steps such as writing down goals or writing present goals (not future goals) are in my opinion, most of the time overlooked. This in turn can create obstacles to goals achievement.
One of the advantages of this book is that Tracy offers wisdom tips from motivational speakers and coaches such as Zig Ziglar, Alexander Graham Bell or Peter Drucker thus the reader benefits from great insights and great strategies for achieving goals in a “one-stop-shop”.
The author also shares several personal stories of his own path to success which are likely to inspire you in your coaching journey. If you have not yet written your goals, this book will motivate you to do so and it will also show you how to create a plan to achieve them.
In Tracy’s words, “you can't hit a target that you can't see” and this book will help you to see your goals and start moving forward faster!
Happy coaching!
